[Question] Is the development key applicable to self-hosted deployments?

I'd like to know if development keys are invalid in self-hosted environments? Is setting environment variables the only way to remove rate limits?

i can create dev keys on self-hosted. but you can also disable abuse checks via env vars

I don't know what's wrong, my development key isn't working. The endpoint for verifying email addresses is returning a 429 error, even though the header includes the Dev API key.

When I encountered a 429 error during development, I immediately added the development key but forgot to use environment variables.
